To provide a safe environment for children and families, and so everyone can be included in all activities including Super Sunday, people must register their intention to attend camp. Registration is obligatory for all campers.
Part week bookings are not accepted for any accommodation during the camp.
Camp set up occurs during the week prior to camp and for staff to complete camp set up safely and without interruption or delay, please do not arrive before Friday 3rd April. If for some reason this cannot be avoided, please contact the Conference office on (02) 6249 6822
Camp check-in commences from 9.00am on Friday 3rd April. Please call at the camp office to check in, collect the registration pack and sign your waiver forms.
Wristbands: Children will be issued wristbands for their activities.
Camp Office is in the Lodge and will be open from 9.00am – 5.00pm daily (except for Sabbath and Sunday) for all administrative enquiries and payments.
Chalet and Dormitory Accommodation
For OH&S reasons and insurance purposes, you are requested not to exceed the maximum number of people allowed in each facility as listed below
Chalet (9 bed): Maximum 9 people
Fully furnished two bedrooms curtained for privacy, 3 bunk beds, 1 double bunk & single on top (linen not included), ensuite, kitchen including stovetop, fridge, all kitchen utensils, TV and heating/cooling
Dormitory (6 bed): Maximum 6 people
3 bunk beds (linen not included), 1 shower unit, toilet, vanity, under floor heating, table & chairs
Dormitory (12 bed): Maximum 12 people
6 bunk beds (linen not included) 2 shower units, 2 toilets, vanity, kitchenette, under floor heating, table & chairs
Cooking is not allowed in the dormitory rooms. Doing so may set off the smoke detector and the occupant will be liable for costs associated if Fire Services are involved. A fully equipped kitchen is available for dormitory guests only for meal preparation – located at the end of the dormitories next to dormitory R.
General
Dining Room: Plates and cutlery are provided for dine-in guests only. Please bring your own plates for take away meals. Serving times are as follows:

SNSW Big Camp 2026 – Terms and Conditions
I wish to attend and participate in the SNSW Big Camp 2026. I acknowledge that there are risks involved (injury, loss or damage) and choose to participate on this understanding knowing that all reasonable care will be taken to avoid such. I acknowledge that the SNSW SDA Conference is not responsible for the loss or theft of my personal property.
I give the SNSW Big Camp official photographer and their assistant/s, permission to use and publish photographs of me, and those included in this form, for editorial, trade, advertising and any other purpose, unless the organisation has been notified in writing of any legal or safety reasons.
The information contained in this form is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. Furthermore, I agree to refrain from any behaviour that may be detrimental to any attendee (child, youth, staff or other participants) and commit to live by the values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church during my time at Big Camp. I recognise that not adhering to this disqualifies my participation at Big Camp and I may be asked to leave.
All site allocations determined by the Camp Secretary are final. We want everyone to have a good time, and allocations are made with that in mind.
Camping courtesy
No pets are allowed on site. Registered service animals are accepted. Please advise the Conference when registering that a service animal will be accompanying you.
Drug and alcohol-free zone – Adventist Alpine Village requires that no alcohol, tobacco or illicit drugs be brought on to the campgrounds. Offenders will forfeit their rights to be on the grounds
We ask that you stay within your site bounds.
Stay within your clearly marked lines! If you camp in the wrong area, you will be moved.
Tents set up behind caravans need to be fully within your site boundary they must not overflow into any public area.
Maximum number of occupants per site are: 8 people.
Family Responsibilities
Parents are reminded that the responsibility for their children does not cease when they come to camp.
While every care is taken and there are activities for children, camp is not a child-minding facility.
Please ensure that the conduct of your children and young people is adequately supervised throughout the camp period, and that your children are fully under your control between meetings.
For the safety and protection of all children at camp, it is a requirement that children attending the Beginners /Kindy area be always cared for including during program times by their parent/carer/guardian as there will not be staff provided for this purpose. The requirement for the Primary program is that parent/carer/guardian must sign the child in and out of each event.
Miscellaneous Camp Rules
Vehicle Access roads must be kept clear for emergency vehicles so please park only in the designated car parks
Always observe the SPEED LIMITof 10kph. Failure to do so will result in the vehicle being banned from the grounds.
Bicycles and push scooters are welcome at camp and are to be used only during daylight hours. For your own safety bike helmets are compulsory and must be worn while riding.
Private Business – Camp is not to be used to further personal business activities. Campers are asked not to distribute, sell or canvass anything that has not been authorised by Conference Administration.
No one may sleep on the grounds unless they are a registered camper.
Young people under 18 are not permitted to camp overnight without adequate adult supervision.
Modest attire is to be worn in all public settings.
Loud and offensive language is not accepted or tolerated.
Noise levels are not to disturb other campers it is important that each camper shows respect for their fellow campers. This is demonstrated by limiting noise after 10pm and observing no noise from 11.00pm – 6.00am.
Out of courtesy all mobile phones should be turned off during the meetings.
Fires are permitted on the campground but must be contained in a fire pit. Contact the AAV staff to purchase firewood.
Conference leaders reserve the right to ask people who do not abide by these regulations to leave the grounds
